Privacy policy
This policy describes how the website is built to handle information. The business owner should review it (ideally with legal counsel) before it is relied on.
Last updated: October 14, 2026
This policy explains what information Bayou Boyz Tree Service (“Bayou Boyz,” “we,” “us”) collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you request an estimate, we collect the information you enter:
- Your name and phone number
- Your email address, if you choose to provide it
- The city or address of the property
- The service you need and your description of the project
- Any photos you choose to attach
- Your agreement to be contacted about your request
Photos are processed when they are uploaded: they are converted to a standard format and their embedded metadata — including any GPS location recorded by your phone or camera — is removed.
Information collected automatically
When you submit the estimate form, our server records the date and time, your IP address, and your browser’s user-agent string. We use these to prevent spam and abuse and to troubleshoot problems. Our web server also keeps standard access logs. This website does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and it does not set cookies.
How we use your information
- To respond to your estimate request and contact you about it by phone, text, or email
- To prepare and provide your estimate and, if you hire us, to perform the work
- To protect the website from spam and abuse
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with others for their marketing.
Who we share it with
Your request is delivered to Bayou Boyz staff. We use service providers to host this website and to deliver email notifications; they process information only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and attached photos for as long as needed to respond to you and for our business records, and then delete them. You may ask us to delete your request at any time.
Security
The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Estimate requests and photos are stored on servers with restricted access, and uploaded photos are never published on the website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted. Contact us using the details below and include your reference number if you have it.
Children
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
